Value starts with a comparable product

There is no useful best-value calculation when the products use different botanicals, plant parts, or preparations. First decide which label fields must match; only then choose a price denominator.

Use the narrowest supported denominator

Price per stated serving is often the most defensible number. Price per gram can be useful for comparable powders, but it does not make an extract and a powder equivalent. If the label does not disclose the needed amount, report package price only.

Worked example, without a ranking

A $24 package with 60 stated servings costs $0.40 per serving. That figure helps describe the package; it does not establish effectiveness, quality, or suitability.

Keep offers and claims separate

Show promotions, shipping, format, and marketing claims as separate fields. A short-lived discount should not decide a value comparison that otherwise lacks matching label data.
