How to compare creatine prices fairly
Creatine products are easiest to compare when the package price is separated from the amount of creatine actually declared on the label. SuppScan puts active grams, servings, product form, and current merchant price in one view, so a 300 g tub and a capsule bottle are not judged by container price alone. The result is a shopping comparison, not a ranking of personal suitability.
Start with the ingredient line and distinguish creatine monohydrate, creatine HCl, blends, and products with added carbohydrates or flavouring. Then record grams per serving, servings per container, net weight, and any capsule or tablet count. Micronized describes particle size; it is not a substitute for the ingredient name. A blend should remain a blend when the label does not disclose each component separately.
For a like-for-like price calculation, multiply declared creatine grams per serving by the stated servings to get total declared creatine. Divide package price by that total and multiply by five for cost per 5 g. The same arithmetic can express cost per 100 g.
