Packets and tubs can package the same category in different ways. A low shelf price or a large container does not show how many labeled servings it contains.

Normalize by the labeled serving

Record package price, packet count or net powder weight, serving size, and servings per container. Divide price by stated servings to calculate package price per serving. Compare sodium, potassium, sweeteners, and mixing directions beside that result; a serving may use different amounts of powder or water.

For a simple example, a $24 tub labeled as 30 servings costs $0.80 per serving before shipping or tax. A 20-packet box at $18 costs $0.90 per packet. These are illustrative package calculations, not current retailer prices.

Check offer terms before choosing a unit

Include a verified discount only if it applies to the listed package and account for delivery charges separately. Do not compare the powder grams in a packet with grams of electrolytes unless the label discloses those nutrient amounts.
