Compare a supplement’s regular package price with a verified checkout discount and show the resulting cost per labeled serving.

A large discount badge does not show whether a product is the best value. Start with the current package price, confirm that a promotion applies, then calculate a consistent unit price.

Keep the baseline visible

Record the regular listed price, promotional price, package size, and stated servings. Confirm the coupon’s expiration, minimum order, subscription requirement, and product eligibility on the retailer’s checkout page. Do not treat an unverified coupon or crossed-out reference price as a confirmed saving.

Calculate the discount and unit price

For a $30 package discounted to $24, the saving is $6, or 20% of the $30 baseline. If the package has 30 labeled servings, the discounted package cost is $0.80 per serving before shipping and tax. These figures are examples, not live offers.

Show discount, package price, and cost per serving separately. A sale changes price; it does not change the formula or establish product quality.

Should I compare a one-time sale with a subscription price?

Show them as separate purchase terms and verify renewal pricing before treating them as equivalent.

Does unit price include shipping?

Only when the displayed total explicitly includes it. State the basis of the calculation.
